Fulop for Governor Announces Campaign Leadership Team
Mayor Steven Fulop is announcing his campaign for Governor’s initial senior leadership team. The group includes nationally recognized consultants and strategists with a significant history of helping elect Democrats to statewide office across the country as well as New Jersey-based leaders with major experience in state elections. The campaign’s early focus will center on volunteer recruitment, engagement and organizing across the state, and its leadership team will be involved in all aspects of that effort. Over 150 new volunteers have already signed up to join Team Fulop since the Jersey City Mayor announced his campaign last week, and that number is expected to grow significantly over the coming months.
“Any successful campaign requires talented, experienced leaders who believe in the candidate’s vision and will work as hard as they can to achieve victory, and that is exactly what we have been able to assemble in a very short period of time,” said Mayor Fulop. “I’m proud that we have already been able to recruit so many volunteers, and our team will be working alongside me to build a grassroots supporter network that will allow us to connect with everyday residents across the state, listen to their concerns and hopes and show them that we can build an even better New Jersey together.”
