Noreen Giblin, chief counsel at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, is going to the front office to start a new job as Governor Phil Murphy’s cabinet secretary.

The daughter of Assemblyman Tom Giblin (D-34) served as state director for the late U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg and worked in the McGreevey Administration. Her new job will require her to coordinate the governor’s agenda among the administration’s different departments.

She’s supposed to start next week.
