Gloucester County Reports 30 New COVID-19 Cases on Wednesday; 150 Cases Total

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced 30 more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County.

As of Wednesday morning, April 1, 2020, Gloucester County has conducted 1,028 tests. Of those tests 855 are negatives, 150 are positives and 23 are still pending.

At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise.

Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a
healthcare professional recommends it. Most people with mild symptoms do not need to be tested. It is
important to stay home and isolate from others while sick.

The statewide COVID-19 count is 25,590 cases and 537 fatalities,as of Thusday April 2nd, an increase of 3,489 cases and 182 deaths since Wednesday.
