Gloucester County Reports 7 New COVID-19 Cases, 33 Total as of Thursday Morning

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced seven more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County.

This brings Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases to 33.

The 27th case is a 44-year-old male from Woolwich.

The 28th case is a 59-year-old female from Woolwich.

The 29th case is a 20-year-old female from Woodbury.

The 30th case is an 85-year-old female from Deptford.

The 31st case is a 27-year-old male from Deptford.

The 32nd case is a 22-year-old female from Glassboro.

The 33rd case is an 86-year-old female from Woolwich.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.

At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.
