Gloucester County Reports 7 new COVID-19 Cases; Total 26 as of Wednesday Morning

From Gloucester County:

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced seven more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County. This brings Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases to 26, as of the morning of Wednesday March 25th.

The 20th case is a 56-year-old male from Monroe Township.

The 21th case is a 77-year-old female from Washington Township.

The 22th case is an 82-year-old female from West Deptford.

The 23rd case is a 52-year-old male from Washington Township.

The 24th case is a 40-year-old male from Washington Township.

The 25th case is a 61-year-old male from Deptford.

The 26th case is a 44-year-old female from Washington Township.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.

At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.
