TRENTON – Widely seen as a rising star future statewide option in the Republican Party, Monmouth County Sheriff (and Monmouth County GOP Chairman) Shaun Golden wouldn’t speculate on his own aspirations as he made his way into the War Memorial to bear witness to the swearing-in of Governor Phil Murphy.

“I’m here to support Phil Murphy,” said Golden, accompanied by Monmouth Clerk Christine Hanlon and Freeholder Tom Arnone.
