The  mailbox to mailbox heart of the Republican Primary for Governor pits the message of Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno’s campaign against that of Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli (R-16).

Guadagno toyed with “High Tax Jack” in earlier mail pieces, then drew a bead on “Jack it Up,” which reinforces the jingle in her television commercials.

For his part, Ciattarelli has strived to define himself to the right of Guadagno on guns and the environment, but mostly has sought to portray Guadagno as an ineffectual functionary of what he argues is the failed Christie Administration.
