Incumbent Morris County Freeholder Deb Smith (pictured) will run on a Republican Primary ticket with former freeholders Hank Lyon and John Krickus.

Freeholder John Cesaro will pursue reelection separately.

It’s not the first time Cesaro and Smith have run against each other on separate primary tickets.

Smith ran in 2015 with Krickus and Dave Scapicchio. Cesaro ran that year with Freeholder Christine Myers and Angelo Tedesco.

Cesaro, Myers and Smith produced the split ticket victory.
