Today, Democrats Vin Gopal, Eric Houghtaling, and Joann Downey are releasing their first TV ad of the 2021 election, emphasizing their support for small businesses throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and into the future.

In the 30-second ad, the candidates feature various small businesses throughout the district, including Ruffino’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant in Eatontown, Joe’s Barber Shop in Freehold Borough, Fuze Eatery in Eatontown, and Irv’s Deli and Restaurant in Neptune City, just a few of the many small businesses across the 11th Legislative District that make our communities a great place to live.

“Everybody going back to work should know how hard [Gopal, Houghtaling, and Downey] worked for us,” said Vito Ruffino of Ruffino’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant.

Gopal is one of just a handful of Democratic State Senate candidates endorsed this year by the National Federation of Independent Business.

Senator Vin Gopal, Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling, and Assemblywoman Joann Downey are running for re-election to serve the 11th Legislative District, which covers 18 municipalities within Monmouth County.
