Governor-elect Murphy Announces Transition2018 Committee Memberships
Governor-elect Philip D. Murphy today announced memberships of the Transition2018 committees, naming more than 500 individuals who are undertaking the policy analysis and recommendations on a host of state issues and initiatives as the new administration prepares to take office in two months.
“New Jersey needs an administration ready to hit the ground running in January, and through the work of the transition committees my administration will not take office blind to the challenges and opportunities before us,” said Murphy. “I am grateful to everyone who accepted the call to serve our transition. From analyzing and prescribing policy to taking a fresh look at the basic organization of government, these committees have a lot of work to do. I am confident they will put my administration in a position to begin delivering results for the people of New Jersey from day one.”
The committees are comprised of numerous policy experts and outside leaders in their respective fields, and each committee will have legal counsel to support their efforts. The committees will meet throughout the state over the course of the next two months. They will then submit reports and recommendations to the Governor-elect and his leadership team prior to the inauguration that will inform the new administration’s legislative and regulatory agenda.
The Governor-elect announced the co-chairs of each of the 14 respective Transition2018 committees on Monday. Today, he also announced the name of Donna Chiera as an additional co-chair of the Education committee.

One of Murphy’s elected appointees ambushed my husband by firing him from his position after 26 years of dedication, hard work and loyalty- no warning- just ambushed him with her army. Always had above average, excellent yearly performance reviews, never counseled or written up. This is a reflection and trickle down of DT’s egotistical, narcissistic behaviors. Way to go to support middle class.
