Guadagno Unimpressed by Murphy’s Petition Signature Submissions
Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno jeered at the Murphy Campaign for paying volunteers to grand slam his petition signature numbers on filing deadline day.
“After using his Goldman Sachs wealth to buy the loyalty of the Democrat Party establishment, it’s painfully obvious Phil Murphy is overcompensating by paying for these signatures to fake grassroots support,” said Guadagno, the front-runner for the Republican nomination for governor.
“Thankfully, he won’t be able to buy the Governor’s Office because New Jerseyans want a leader who will lower property taxes and grow jobs, not brag about who has the bigger stack of signatures,” she added.

A partisan candidate running for Governor only needs 1,000 signatures. So it’s just overkill & a waste of energy/money, to get 45,000! http://www.njelections.org/candidate_pdf/partisan-candidate-requirements-123011.pdf
