With control at stake on a seven-member governing body, Teaneck Mayor Mohammed Hameeduddin’s candidates tonight beat those backed by Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg.

They shared one.

But parted company on three others, and the mayor’s picks won.

He backed Gervoon Rice, Jim Dunleavy, Keith Kaplan, and Elie Katz, or spots 1, 2, 3 and 4.

They won.

Weinberg backed Rice, who won. Her other candidates, challenger Chuck Powers, incumbent Councilman Alan Sohn and challenger Clara Williams, lost.
