HCDO Chair DeGise Announces Executive Board

Following last night’s historic election of Hudson County Democratic Organization Chair Amy DeGise, committee members voted in the new HCDO Executive Board including the following positions:

Vice Chair: Felix Henriquez, North Bergen

Treasurer: Craig Guy, Jersey City

Recording Secretary: Al Santos, Kearny

Corresponding Secretary: Gabriel Rodriguez, West New York

“The work of rebuilding our county party and bringing all Hudson County Democrats together to support Senator Bob Menendez and fight for progressive values starts now, and I could not be more excited to have such a great team with me to make that happen,” said Chairwoman DeGise. “I would like to once again thank the committee members for their trust in my leadership and everyone who supported my campaign. I pledge to continue working hard to live up to that trust and to once again make the HCDO the statewide force it should be.”

All of the new party officers will serve a two year term. Additionally, Chairwoman DeGise plans to name a slate of Second Vice Chairs in the coming weeks representing all Hudson County municipalities, as well as announcing new committees on a variety of topics.

DeGise is also announcing the selection of Susan Ragheb as HCDO Executive Director. Ragheb serves as Policy Director to Assemblyman Nicholas Chiaravalloti (D-31) and was the Field Director for Mayor Jimmy Davis’ recent successful re-election campaign in Bayonne.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with Amy and all the mayors as we build the Democratic Party and deliver a historic victory for Senator Menendez,” said Ragheb.
