Healey Beats Smith in CD-3
Yachtsman and former punk rocker Bob Healey beat gym owner/Phil Murphy antagonist Ian Smith tonight in a closely watched and somewhat weirded out CD-3 Republican Primary.
That means Healey will go up against incumbent U.S. Rep. Andy Kim (D-3) in the general election.
“Washington is totally upside down,” Healey wrote on Facebook a few days ago. “The radical policies Andy Kim voted for are driving the cost of living through the roof.
“I’m Bob Healey. I’ve spent the last 10 years being a force for good – building hospitals and schools in Sierra Leone, helping at risk kids in our communities, and raising wages and creating good paying American jobs. With your support, that’s what I’ll fight for in Congress. I hope I can count on your support June 7th.”
