A Newark source described better than average turnout in Newark's Central Ward in spite of the rain.

"Number 62 at my district at 10:30," said the source. "In May I was number 4 at that time. This is about to be historic and we can thank Trump for that."

Essex County Clerk Chris Durkin confirmed it.

"Newark vote surging," Durkin said.
