Hoboken Hit Unprecedented 11,500 Voter Mark at 2 P.M.

Hoboken is on pace to attain record voter turnout – and possibly outperform neighboring LD33 big brother Union City.

At 2 p.m., 11,500 people had voted in the mile-square city.

That puts the Hudson County city on a course to conceivably hit 14,000 votes.

That would be unprecedented for a mid-term election.

By way of comparison, Hoboken recorded 8,500 votes in 2014.

Turnout is high all over Hudson (and all over the state; a source said South Bergen is on pace to hit 60% turnout tonight), and high in Bayonne, where those voters have already exceeded last year’s gubernatorial election totals.
