The “Unity 2020” slate of candidates for Somerset County Republican Executive Committee received unanimous support at tonight’s Annual Meeting of the Somerset County Republican
Organization, held via Zoom.

Peapack & Gladstone Republican Chair Tim Howes was elected County Chair, succeeding Al Gaburo, who decided not to run for a sixth consecutive term at the helm of the organization.

Howes becomes only the fifth chair of the Somerset County Republicans since the Second World War.

The Unity Slate is rounded out with the following officers:

First Vice Chair – Former Somerset County Freeholder Pat Walsh (Greenbrook Township)

Second Vice Chair – Ravikanth “Ravi” Kolla (Franklin Township)

Secretary – Brittany Wheeler (Bedminster Township)

Treasurer – Bob Damiano (Hillsborough Township)

State Committee, Male (unexpired term) – Al Gaburo (Montgomery Township)

In addition to the officers elected by the caucus, Howes appointed Jeff Foose (Bridgewater) as Finance Chair, and Thaddeus Maciag, Esq. (Montgomery) as Legal Counsel.
