The vote by mail (VBM) situation tonight in Hudson County as time ticks down:

“As of 4:30 today we had 9,857 returned ballots,” Hudson County Clerk E. Junior Maldonado told InsiderNJ.

“Estimated to get to 12k or 13k by the time everything comes in,” he added. “That’s because the new law gives us two days after the election to receive any that are postmarked on or before Election Day.”
