Hunterdon County released an updated list of COVID-19 cases by town as of Tuesday, April 7th. According to the county, there are 255 cases total, and the age range is from 2  to 100 years of age. There have been 5 fatalities total as of Monday. The age range of deaths is 65 to 83 years of age. For the protection of the privacy the families, no additional information will be released at this time.

Of the total 255 cases, the Township of Raritan has the highest case count of any municipality, with 48 cases as of Tuesday; Stockton remains the only town with 0 cases.

The Hunterdon County Health Department is providing case count numbers by municipality and cannot release any additional personal information to protect case identity and privacy. Calls to the Department seeking information that cannot be provided takes health professionals away from their vital public health and COVID response duties.

The County Health Department performs contact tracing for each positive COVID-19 case. If you have had close contact with an individual who has tested positive, you will be contacted by public health officials.

According to the NJDOH, the statewide COVID-19 count as of Wednesday, April 8th is 47,437 cases and 1,504 fatalities, an increase of 3,088 cases and 275 fatalities from Tuesday.
