Insider: 'Never Saw a Gender Imbalance Like this on Election Day'
PHILADELPHIA - An insider - Jersey diehard - surfaced in Philly on Election Day.
A backer of Kamala Harris, he was jittery late in the game, uncertain about the results despite general hoopla from the party about the game tilting in the Democratic presidential candidate's direction.
"Heavy turnout," he said. "I heard Philadelphia passed 2020 numbers around 1 p.m. No disruptions. On county extended polling hours until 10 due to machine problems."
He described his political operative friends as "very confident."
"I’m having my usual Election Day meltdown," he added. "Never saw a gender imbalance like this on Election Day. Approximately 60+% female at my polling location."
