Former Paterson Board of Education Commissioner Chris Irving is leaving the Murphy Administration and his job with the Department of Education to take a job as superintendent of the Teaneck School System, InsiderNJ has learned.

A former BOE president, Irving was for a short time in the mix to get the top job at Education, but the nod went to Acting Commissioner Lamont Repollet.
