James Tapped as East Orange Council Prez
The East Orange City Council on Monday night elected Chris James as council president.
A veteran Democratic Party operative and close ally of Essex County Democratic Committee Chairman Leroy Jones, James served as executive director of the Democratic State Committee and as chief of staff to former Speaker Sheila Oliver.
