Jerry Green Says He’s Looking Forward to Coughlin’s Leadership in the Assembly
At a fundraiser last night in Woodbridge, supporters raised $150,000 for the reelection campaign of Assemblyman (and possible next Speaker of the General Assembly) Craig Coughlin (D-19).
More than 100 people attended the two-hour event.
When Assemblyman Jerry Green of Plainfield (D-22) introduced Coughlin, he said he looks forward to Coughlin’s leadership in the Assembly and his strong ability to lead the Democratic caucus.
One-hundred people attended, including Sen. Joseph Vitale, Assemblyman Gordon Johnson (D-37th Dist.), Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes, Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac, Union County Sheriff Joe Cryan, Middlesex County Democratic Chairman Kevin McCabe, as well as many Middlesex County freeholders and other elected officials from Middlesex County.
