Joint Statement from Murphy, Regional Govs, on Dockworkers Strike
Joint Statement From Governor Phil Murphy, Governor Kathy Hochul, Governor Maura Healey, and Governor Wes Moore
“On October 1st, the first large-scale eastern dockworker strike in 47 years began at ports from Maine to Texas, as members of the International Longshoremen’s Association fights for better wages and working conditions. It’s critical for USMX and the ILA to reach a fair agreement soon that respects workers and ensures a flow of commerce through our ports. We want to state clearly that we, along with the Biden-Harris Administration, are closely monitoring for incidences of price gouging, and warn all companies that they should not use this moment as an opportunity to unfairly profit off of working families. We will continue to closely coordinate to ensure that critical supplies are available at medical facilities and grocers across the country.”
Biden and Kamala are useless and worthless in emergencies
Taft-Hartley Act is there. Use it!! You dems are useless.
Biden an Harris administration are worthless Trump 2024
Oh no!
The port emergency settled already. Now what will Republicans say and do? Will they congratulate those involved on a fast, safe settlement to keep docks open and goods arriving?
Price Gouging??? That’s laughable. Inflationary Price Increases are NOT the result of Price Gouging. It’s the result of Harris-Biden Administration Gouging American Taxpayers by passing fraudulent MULTI-TRILLION DOLLAR legislation in the form of the “Green RAW Deal” Act and the “Inflation INCREASING Act”.
