“Patricia and I mourn the passing of Michael Aron and share our condolences with his family and friends. In the tumultuous world of New Jersey politics, Michael served as a beacon of truth and fairness. His pursuit of transparency and honest discussion instilled accountability in the officials elected to serve the residents of New Jersey. The passing of Michael Aron leaves a deep void in the New Jersey press corps and an example for the next generation of journalists to follow.”  – Jon Bramnick.

Michael Aron, 78, of NJN and NJ Spotlight News, was a New Jersey legend.

A friend to many, especially those who cared about our government and political system.

In his inimitable words, “If you’re a reporter, New Jersey never lets you down.”

On this sad day, never forget, that Michael Aron – a man of integrity and excellence – never let New Jersey down.

May he rest in peace.

  1. The headline makes this more about the candidate than about Michael Aron. Very poorly thought through.

    • Respectfully, it actually is thought out. It’s appropriate, in fact. Jon Bramnick knew Mr. Aron well.

  2. So sorry for your lost Mr.Aron was a great man loved watching him on the news prayers and hugs to you and his family 💚☘️😇
