In a sign of inter-state ties that bind, New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman LeRoy Jones on Monday night co-hosted a fundraiser for Pennsylvania Democratic State Chairman Sharif Street.

The event took place at Calandra’s Italian Village in Caldwell.

Assemblyman Gary Schaer
Mayor Mohamed Khairullah
Senator Joe Cryan  
Jimmy Harrity, political director for the Pa. state party

and Leila Sadeghi, Street’s Finance Chair, who co-hosted the event.

It is the first time- to the knowledge of those involved- that the Chairmen of NJ and Pa. had a joint event.

Street is very engaged in his home state where a very competitive contest for a U.S. Senate seat is at stake.
