Kean Concedes

It's finally over in CD-7.

Tom Kean Jr. just issued a statement that said, "The votes have been counted in NJ--7 and Tom Malinowski has won the election."

This officially ends an election that got too close for comfort for Democrats.

Malinowski had a 28,000 vote lead on Election Night, but that dwindled to a bit more than 4,000 as more votes were counted.

Malinowski turned things around beginning last Sunday and slowly expanded his lead.
It is now a bit less than 5,000 and there are very few votes left to count.

Malinowski now has the seat for as long as he wants it. Jr. made too many mistakes in his campaign and was not a strong enough candidate.
