Kelly Gets 18 Months for Her Role in Bridgegate Scheme

Supreme Court’s decision to consider the appeal of Bridget Anne Kelly of her conviction in the Bridgegate scandal will be one of the most closely watched judicial proceedings in years.

Bridget Anne Kelly, 44, former deputy chief of staff to Gov. Christie, today received a sentence of 18 months for her role in a scheme to punish the mayor of Fort Lee, New Jersey, by misusing Port Authority resources to cause traffic problems in the borough.
