Kennedy Reports $2.2 Million in 3rd Quarter Receipts
Today, the Amy Kennedy for Congress campaign announced more than $2.2 million dollars in receipts for the third financial quarter.
Kennedy’s campaign received 22,844 total contributions from 14,750 donors, including 20,276 contributions of less than $100. The campaign received 9,504 contributions from New Jersey and 3,335 contributions from NJ2.
Josh Roesch, Amy Kennedy’s campaign manager said, “These numbers clearly show what Amy has been hearing as she travels across the district. The people of South Jersey are ready for a representative in Congress that cares more about serving the community than their own political career. South Jersey was struggling before COVID-19 and now we are in a full-blown crisis. Amy will fight every day for the people of South Jersey to ensure that we have access to affordable healthcare and an economic recovery that puts the middle class and small businesses first.”
This strong report in a shortened financial quarter, in combination with the recent polling showing her leading Jeff Van Drew by 5 points, and the fact that the Kennedy campaign has vastly out communicated her opponent, gives Amy Kennedy the momentum with 34 days left in the campaign at a time when the majority of people in the district have their ballots in hand.
