Kim Receives Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey Endorsement
Today, U.S. Rep. Andy Kim (D-3) announced he has been endorsed for reelection by the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ).
“Ensuring our communities are safe is at the heart of my work, and I know the integral role that firefighters play in doing that,” said Kim. “From the time we learn to stop, drop, and roll, to learning how to properly install car seats for our own children – firefighters teach us how to protect ourselves and our families, and step up when the unimaginable happens. With their support, we’ll continue to keep our communities safe and I’m grateful for their endorsement.”
Kim has also received endorsements for reelection from American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL–CIO), End Citizens United (ECU) / Let America Vote, Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF), League of Conservation Voters (LCV), VoteVets, Giffords Foundation, Everytown for Gun Safety, Sierra Club, and Teamsters Local 676, Joint Council 53, Brady PAC, AAPI Victory Fund, and New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police (NJFOP), among others.
Running for reelection in the Nov. 8th contest, Kim said he is proud to represent the community where he grew up. He continues to have a strong coalition of grassroots support that has been behind him since 2018 and helped him secure two historic victories. Without taking a dime of corporate PAC money, Congressman Kim’s campaign has raised more than $5 million this cycle through grassroots support. Prior to serving in Congress, Kim worked as a civilian advisor to four-star generals and at the Pentagon, and served under both Republican and Democratic Presidents. He now resides in Moorestown with his wife Kammy and two young sons.
This sounds much more like a press ewlease than a news article.
