Thursday, Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) released the following statement regarding the recent ICE announcement to re-open and privatize Delaney Hall, transforming it into a temporary ICE detention center.

“No company should be profiting off of the separation of families and our broken immigration system,” said Senator Andy Kim. “Reopening Delaney Hall won’t secure the border or fix our immigration system. We need to focus on solutions, not padding the pockets of corporations.”
