Paul Juliano - the [bubbleAutoLink text="successor" id="26579"] to Lou Stellato as Bergen County Democratic Committee chairman - showed up.

So did Middlesex County Democratic Committee Chaiman Kevin McCabe.

"A real marriage being made," said a source, noting Middesex and Bergen in the packed room.

Lagana, the source observed, is "becoming a real force."

Every - or almost every - major lobbyist and significant party interest group found a way into the lounge - including a heavy serving of labor.
