Lance Doesn’t Say He Wants Menendez to Resign
PHILLIPSBURG – Even as other NJ Republicans called for a Senate Ethics Committee-chastised U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) to resign, battleground U.S. Rep. Leonard Lance (R-7) said no.
“He should face the voters,” said Lance, who faces the possibility in a toss up district come November of going up against well funded Democratic challenger Tom Malinowski, a former assistant secretary of state.

He probably remembers how things worked out when Torricelli resigned. Even though Frank isn’t around to run, the Dems would easily come up with better name that would make the GOP’s slim chances even worse.
