In maybe the only good story of the night for Republicans, Assemblyman Chris Brown tonight beat incumbent Senator Colin Bell in the LD2 battleground.

Bell’s running mates won, but the Democrat who replaced the late Jim Whelan as the Atlantic County senator did not prevail against war hero/former judge Brown.
