Morris County Freeholder John Cesaro has always been a big supporter of state Senator Joe Pennacchio (R-26), and Pennacchio in turn has backed Cesaro. But in this cycle, the veteran state senator from the 26th District issued an endorsement of his running mates, Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-26) and Assemblywoman Betty Lou DeCroce (R-26).

Late mail from Cesaro, however, features a picture of the senator and a quote that would appear to be Pennachio’s proud ratification of Cesaro’s candidacy.
