LD8 Flashpoint: Addiego Parties with LaPlaca

Formerly the top of the ticket running mate of Assemblyman Ryan Peters (R-8), Senator Dawn Addiego (R-8), who earlier this year changed her party affiliation from Republican to Democrat, welcomed Peters’s challenger Gina LaPlaca to her annual wine fest event at Valenzano Winery in Shamong Township.
It was a packed house.
Mayors and council members from across the county joined the senator and the Democratic candidate for assembly, including several Republicans who still support Addiego and the LD8 slate of LaPlaca and her running mate, attorney Mark Natale.
Rue Ryan, Democratic candidate for Lumberton Township Committee, and a CWA member, was also in the crowd.

At the event, Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo hosted a labor tent. Those in attendance included Mt Holly Mayor Jason Jones, Evesham Deputy Mayor Heather Cooper, winery owner Anthony Valenzano, Evesham Councilwoman Pat Hansen, Lumberton candidate Rue Ryan, amd Willingboro Councilman Darvis Holley.
