At this morning’s Assembly Judiciary Committee hearing, Director of the New Jersey League of Women Voters Kathy Abbott derided the legislature’s apportionment resolution in no certain terms.

“This… will decrease opportunities for voters to choose candidates and it would allow the New Jersey Legislature to have more safe seats and allow less creative problem solving in the state of New Jersey,” said Abbott.
