Legislators And Leaders Pay Tribute To Colleague Green
Legislative leaders, elected officials, and colleagues paid tribute today to Assemblyman Jerry Green, who passed away last night. The veteran legislator served in the Assembly for 26 years, chaired the Housing Committee, and served as Speaker Pro Tempore. Green also served as Chair of the Union County Democratic Committee, before stepping down in January of this year. Here’s what they said in memory of Green:
