CD5 Republican Primary candidate Steve Lonegan nabbed Column 1 in Bergen County, and promptly chest thumped on Twitter.

Lonegan is running against attorney John McCann, who hails from Bergen and has the backing of the Bergen County Republican Organization (BCRO).

“The death knell for John McCann. Lonegan pulls coveted Column A in Bergen County,” the candidate tweeted.
