TRENTON – Coming out of a meeting with legislative leadership, a cryptically optimistic Horizon chief Bob Marino said he expects to be around for awhile.

“It was a very productive meeting,” he said, without offering details.  “I expressed my concern with the bill. I got a group of people across the street.”

Reporters asked him what worries him about S-4, the Horizon bill authored by state Senator Joe Vitale (D-19).

“If you heard our testimony,” he said, reporters were advised about the nonprofit’s opposition.

“I expressed my concerns,” he added. “They said they would listen.”
