| Mayor Ras J. Baraka and Queen Latifah will join forces tomorrow, Saturday, October 12th, to energize the electorate, reinforce the importance of getting out the vote and rally support for the Harris-Walz campaign.
The rally will take place from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Essex County College Gymnasium, 303 University Ave, Newark, NJ.
“This election represents a turning point for our country, and the time to act is now,” said Mayor Baraka. “Queen Latifah and I are here to remind our community what’s at stake, and to rally together to fight for justice, equity, and leadership that will uplift all of us. We are not going back, and we need everyone to show up and vote for Harris and Walz in New Jersey, in Pennsylvania and across the country.”
The rally will feature a strong lineup of community leaders, elected officials, and special guests from the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania.
