With 87% of precincts reporting, little-known, poorly funded challenger Lisa McCormick was getting 43% of the vote against incumbent Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) in the Democratic Primary.

In Hunterdon County, with 100% reporting, McKormick was beating Menendez 60-40%.

In Gloucester County, McCormick received 49.7% to Menendez's 50.29% with 96% reporting.

In Cape May County - 58% reporting - McCormick has 54% to the senator's 46%.
