Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes, the overlord of Mercer County Democratic politics, today told a gathering of county Democrats that he intends to pursue reelection in 2019.

A major derailment would have to stop him at this point, he told the crowd, mostly an assemblage of Phil Murphy for Governor fans at the Mercer County Boathouse at Mercer Lake.
