Today, Michael J. Silva’s Campaign for city council released its first ad titled “Community.” This ad will provide East Ward voters an opportunity to learn more about Michael’s candidacy for city council and why he is the best candidate to lead the East Ward moving forward.

Born and raised in Newark by Portuguese immigrants, Michael learned the importance of faith and community from an early age. These values guided Michael through his successful career in law enforcement. In his law enforcement career, Silva did all he could to help the people who meant the most– the community. He is now running for candidacy to represent the place he is proud to call home.
