Millenial Operatives Honor Mikie Sherrill with Trenton Fundraiser
A who’s who of InsiderNJ’s 50 under 30 list of millennial political operatives from Camden to Monmouth to Hudson and everywhere in between descended on Trenton Social last night for a fundraiser in support of Democrat Mikie Sherrill’s candidacy for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th District. The fundraiser was put on by Marshall Spevak and Christina Zuk — who serve as President and Executive Vice President of the New Jersey Young Democrats, respectively.
The event raised over $6,000 for the NJ-11 Democratic front runner’s campaign coffers as she approaches next month’s primary election. Sherrill, a member of the DCCC’s Red to Blue list was recently endorsed by the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, among others, including gun reform advocate former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, who made an appearance with Sherrill just days ago.
