Bridgewater mayoral candidate and Council President Matt Moench fired off a hard-hitting letter to Somerset GOP Chairman Al Gaburo in the aftermath of being denied the use of the county party slogan in the June primary, accusing Gaburo of endorsing incumbent Mayor Dan Hayes so he can ‘direct Bridgewater’s tax dollars to contractors you favor’.

Moench says that he and his slate, who were endorsed by the Bridgewater GOP earlier this year, will run on the line of ‘Bridgewater Republican Organization’.
