Report: Murphy Admin. Picks up Former Passaic Councilman Jammed up on Bribery

“The Murphy administration has hired a former Passaic councilman who admitted to taking bribes by undercover FBI agents more than a decade ago, according to Politico New Jersey.

“Marcellus Jackson, 48, was hired this summer at a salary of $70,000 to work in the Department of Education, according to the news outlet. It learned of his hiring through an invitation from the NAACP’s Passaic branch, which listed his position as ‘special assistant to the state commissioner of education.'”
