Murphy Ally Alvarez Resigns from State Job

Al Alvarez, former chief of staff at the Schools Development Authority, resigned from the administration last week.

Alvarez was a key person in the Murphy Campaign last year, heading up Latino outreach, prior to going to the administration when Phil Murphy became governor. He is a longstanding Democratic Party player, and an attorney who has worked for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee.
