Prior to her time at the Governor’s Office, Guervil worked as the Field Operator for the New Jersey Democratic Committee and Parano & Associates. Her work supported fundraising and communications efforts, as well as research assistance and management consulting. With Parano & Associates, Guervil also worked on Phil Murphy’s first gubernatorial campaign from 2016. His responsibilities included: staffing the Governor during public facing events throughout New Jersey and New York; coordinating with all levels of the United States Government, foreign offices, and various organizations; and leading a dedicated team of advance aides to execute press conferences, bill signings, groundbreakings, and speeches. Daron Vasquez joined the Governor’s Office in 2022 as an Advance Aide. Prior to being promoted to Senior Aide of Operations, Christian Mejia most recently served as an Advance and Briefings Aide, executing the Governor’s public facing events, organizing his private meetings, and gaining a profound understanding of political event planning, audiovisual production skills, and event operational skills. Christian Mejia obtained his bachelor’s degree from Centenary University and his master’s degree from Rutgers University.
The Operations Department includes both Advance and Briefings and Scheduling, and is led by Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Michelle DeAngelo Bucceri.
Congratulations all! I know Daron Vasquez well. What a hardworking, intelligent and caring young man! NJ and the Governor are lucky to have him!
Gov. Murphy should look into his CEO’s at the developmental centers. Many are absent, never seen on grounds ensuring requirements are carried out and met. Staff couldn’t tell you who the CEO of the center is by face because they never see them. Also staffing at one particular facility is atrocious and impedes on the care of the clients and staff have to take many unapproved shortcuts to get the job done.
NJ is overboard with salaries to top level management employees. While the staff who actually do the work is underpaid and struggles to provide adequate care.
Govt in general is top heavy. We could cut taxes if we just got rid of those who sit on their rear ends doing nothing or next to nothing!! Govt got bigger than the private sector, not good.
Would be nice if COLA was reinstated for all the hard working retirees.
This is more people with titles and more income to pay their salaries. It is about time we have less top heaviest on the administration levels and more work for the middle class people being accomplished or what’s happening is we don’t even exist anymore and there two classes either you are rich or poor.
