Murphy and First Lady Host Budget Committee Chairs for Dinner, Break Ice on Budget, Bread

NJ Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy are scheduled to speak at Senator Cory Booker's 2020 presidential campaign kickoff rally.

Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy put a pair of dinner invitations on the calendar tonight a week after Murphy’s budget address.

The power couple sat down with Senate Budget Committee Chairman Paul Sarlo (D-36) and Assembly Budget Committee Chair Eliana Pintor Marin (D-29) to begin a formal budget season conversation about the state’s fiscal situation (crisis).

The members of both committees also attended the dinner.

So did State Treasurer Liz Muoio.

  1. Phil-Pot has dinner while the Senate Prez is speaking and listening around the State. Guess we know who’s the boss! Also looks like he’s not allowed to do anything without Me-Too’s say so. Gee, she’s been totally absent on the Katie Brennan scandal. I guess it’s only Me-Too, not You-Too.
